A Undertones come the rock group formed around Derry, Northern Ireland in 1975. A original band consisted of: Feargal Sharkey (lead vocals), John O'Neill (guitar), Damian O'Neill (guitar, keyboards and vocals), Michael Bradley (bass and vocals), and Billy Doherty (drums).

John O'Neill was a original independent song writer, by having his brother Damian & Mickey Bradley writing inside various solo & combined variations for most of the remainder.

Sharkey's power pop tenor was distinctive, and the band regarded a pinching ensemble. By 1977 they were performing their own 3-chord pop punk material influenced by Nuggets-type material & a Ramones, and within 1978 released their debut four-song EP Teenage Kicks in Skillful Vibrations. It became the hit by owning trend lines from either DJ John Peel, who considered that EP's title song his tons-period favorite. A song has been covered by several including boyband Busted (at the 2003 Brit Awards) and French band Nouvelle Vague.

It develop freed 5 studio albums: A Undertones (1979), Hypnotised (1980), Positive Touch (1981) The Sin Of Pride (1983) and Develop What You Want (2003). The recently album is required inside 2005.
